Dundee Sun City Website Goes Live!
The Dundee Sun City campaign website is launched today. Find out what your carbon footprint is, tell us about any renewables you have installed at home and we will help you reduce your impact. We are sponsoring the weather on radio tay for 8 weeks and offering a free prize draw to encourage people to create their own carbon account. The domestic carbon calculator is currently live with calculators specific to other sectors under development and due to be launched in the next couple of months. Cash Boost for Solar Cities Scotland
Solar Cities Scotland has received a donation from the Dundee branch of the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) to help support its work in Dundee. Chair of Solar Cities Scotland, Elaine Morrison, said "It is a real boost to us as a new organisation to have been nominated as ICE's local charity this year and shows that people have real optimism about Dundee's bid to become the renewable energy capital city of Scotland".
