Welcome to the Carbon Bank

Cutting your carbon can be a healthy and enjoyable way to save money. It also helps fight climate change – a real and dangerous beast that we must all play a part in controlling.

In Scotland our average Carbon Footprint is around 16 tonnes and this needs to reduce by around 10% a year for the next 10 years for us to reach Scotland’s 2020 target of a 42% reduction.

By taking the small steps shown in the carbon bank you will be well on the way to reaching your 10% annual reduction target and helping Dundee to become a low carbon city.
